About the role

Hoopers have an exciting new full-time opportunity for a Business Development Manager based from our London office on a hybrid basis. The role will be focusing on the management and expansion of our existing client base and identifying new business opportunities across the UK which will involve travelling to meet clients. This position is key to our expansion strategy in the Public Services sector to build long term business partnerships and drive revenue growth.  

The ideal candidate for this role will have demonstratable experience within business development or sales within the public sector, legal or financial services. To be successful within the role, we are looking for a strong communicator who can build & retain both internal and external relationships; as well as this, we are looking for a candidate who has a proven track record of excelling in sales targets, business goals and objectives.

Key responsibilities

  • Relationship management to build and develop strong client partnerships.
  • Identify and understand client needs to deliver new services and business opportunities.
  • Developing sales strategies to successfully target new business through market research, networking to key prospective clients  
  • Manage social media to proactively enhance the company presence and brand awareness to increase customer engagement and loyalty.
  • Organising business events, conferences and exhibitions to engage with both existing and new clients
  • Supporting technology developments to improve management and client reporting, productivity and performance  

Additional requirements

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • A full UK driving licence and own car.
  • Legal right to work documentation.
